What camera system was Lumi designed for?

Lumi was originally created using images from Nikon, but has been thoroughly tested on images from Canon, Sony and Fuji cameras with great results! Our Mobile Presets are designed and tested to work with cell phone images taken from both Android and iOS systems.

Is Lumi created to look like film?

Lumi was originally designed for a light and airy style of photography but can also be used to mimic film. Popular film stocks such as Portra 400 and Fuji are easily attained using Lumi.

Can this preset be tweaked to match my personal style?

Yes! Lumi is designed to offer you control over your images without compromising consistency. Once the preset is applied, most photographers make minor adjustments to exposure and white balance. You can tweak the HSL sliders, utilize split toning, remove lens correction or adjust the grain to your liking.

Other than Exposure and WB, What additional tweaks do you recommend?

Depending on lighting, we suggest bringing down your highlights, increasing your blacks to make them lighter and adding a pop of contrast as needed. We will be sharing some great videos on our instagram of how we specifically use Lumi to edit our images. Follow us @wilerweddings

Does the Lumi Preset work on both RAW and JPEG files?

Lumi was created for RAW images, which provide a greater range of adjustment in post-processing. However, you can apply the Lumi Preset to .JPEG images and still achieve a similar look.

How is the Lumi Preset installed?

Upon purchase, you'll receive a PDF with step-by-step instructions on how to install the preset.

Does this preset work on indoor or flash photos?

Absolutely! Just like any preset, you will have to make slight adjustments to accommodate different lighting scenarios. We’ve tested the preset on thousands of flash images and have found it applies beautifully and consistently.

What program do I need to use the Lumi Preset?

The preset is compatible with Adobe Lightroom 6 (CC), 5, 4 and Lightroom for Mobile
