Milestone Mansion Wedding | Krum, TX Macy & Cameron

Just a few days before the wedding day Macy & her mom came to visit at our house for a pre-wedding chat. I think they were feeling anxious and very excited for the big day. I reassured them they had the DREAM TEAM of vendors and it was going to be perfect!

So it came as no surprise when their wedding turned into reality and was absolutely amazing! Little did we all know however that this wedding was about to become even more special to us all because it was the last official wedding before the Coronavirus became the Pandemic we know today.

Our hearts broke as we realized that what was once the wedding to kick off our busy Spring season turned into the last memory before everything happened.

I was hesitant to write about this in my blog post for Macy & Cameron but its really important to document these things and it also is a beautiful reminder of how precious weddings really are to us. Now that we cant gather in large groups, now that we cant hug our friends and family, now that we cant really meet new people and spend time with others it really makes looking back at this moment something to cherish.

We have every ounce of Faith knowing that God will restore all and we will get to celebrate more beautiful couples like this again soon. We just have to trust the process and his plan for all of us. Luckily we have some of the best clients ever who have stepped up to protect their loved ones and re-scheduled their wedding dates. No doubt they will be blessed for their sacrifices and sooner rather than later we will make their dream wedding come true as well.

I dont know when we will share another wedding blog after this but we can live vicariously through Macy & Camerons photos to hold us over for now. Their wedding day truly was magical. We loved everything about it and would do it all over again in a heart beat.

One of my favorite moments was when Macy disappeared but came back in a surprise jumpsuit and busted out a really fun dance routine with her brother. They entertained the crowd and ramped everyone up for a dance party. Guests ate cake, cookies, drank mimosas and then sent our couple off through a sparkler exit.

Its bitter sweet to us right now but with all of that being said we are thankful that we get to capture these moments which are more important than ever. To all our couples who have been affected by this Pandemic we have prayed for you and are believing for days like this to become your own soon enough!
