Canyonwood Ridge Wedding | Dripping Springs, TX Wedding | Cameron & Jake

When I first met Cameron with her Mom at Starbucks I was expecting the usual conversation about their upcoming wedding plans but somehow we spent more time discussing Cameron's photography dreams than the wedding itself. That's when I realized I was meeting someone very special that day.

Cameron reminded me so much of myself right off the bat and I couldn't help but feel like I wanted to help her with her dream. I quickly took her under my wing and equipped her with the very same tools that got me started in my career. She was a quick learner and I did my best to teach her everything I knew including many of my style "secrets". Not before long Cameron was tagging alongside me on wedding days shooting 2nd to me and soon enough I trusted her to be considered my associate photographer. It's been a great partnership working together and I've never had so much joy watching someone grow and develop into a professional as much as I have with Cameron.

It's a great passion of mine to teach and lead others in what I do. So Cameron was my first prodigy you could say. Lucky for Cameron she also had Jake supporting her goals and has always been there to remind her of her natural talent.

Leading up to the wedding we were all getting anxious and couldn't wait for the day to finally arrive. So much thought and planning went into every detail and I wanted nothing more than their vision to come to life. I felt like I was a part of every step and being able to lend advice made preparing for the big day that much more meaningful.

Cameron was a stunning bride as I knew she would be. Jake was looking dapper as ever in his black suede tux. All of those details we had planned finally came together and the wedding was absolutely breathtaking.

Of course Cameron couldn't let us end the night without putting our gear down and joining her on the dance floor. In the final minutes we watched Cameron and Jake share a private dance just before taking off for the next chapter in their lives. It was everything and more to be her photographer that day and I am so happy for all that is to come in their future together.
