Stonebridge Ranch Country Club Wedding | Robin & Rodney Wedding Blog

Where do I begin... I am so in love with how this wedding turned out I hardly have enough words to paint my excitement. This wedding proved to me that love has no limits and forever happiness can be found at any stage in life and sometimes when you least expect it!

Leading up to this wedding day we were still fighting really scattered weather that had been wild for weeks. Texas can be pretty unpredictable at times, one minute the sun is shining and the next there is a tornado warning and you dont know whether or not you should be hiding in a closet. Lucky for us we truly had the most beautiful day and not a rain cloud in sight. The bright shining day helped set the scene for their ceremony that took place on a lush grass field with a pond sparkling in the background. It was both elegant and peaceful.

Listening to their vows and watching Robin get teary eyed as she stared back at the love of her life was one of the sweetest moments for me. Guests cheered when they were pronounced husband and wife and we watched our couple kiss and walk off proudly arm in arm.

Robin & Rodney shared a delightful reception with all their closest friends on a rooftop patio with gorgeous views of the golf course. Guests got to enjoy a lovely dinner while accompanied with live music from a local artist that they had found during one of their many date nights together. The evening felt so personal and thoughtful which made this wedding just that much more intimate and special.

These two are so stinking cute together yall, when I started taking portraits of them together for the first time I couldn't help but show them a sneak peak at the back of my camera. Robin gasped excitedly when I showed her how beautiful she looked and Rodney gave me a compliment for how well I was handling the light during this bright day (there were quite a few photo enthusiasts, including Rodney at this wedding so I talked a lot of shop). I really enjoyed working with this wonderful couple and getting to meet all their loved ones.

I drove home from this wedding day with a huge smile on my face. Everything was perfect and I was so thankful to have been a part of it and to have been chosen as their photographer!
